What are Causes?
‘Causes’ are a powerful new way to donate on Giveth! Anyone can create a curated collection of public goods projects united by a common goal, theme, or vision.
Instead of donating to a single project, donors can now support an entire Cause. These funds are managed by a smart, AI-powered Donation Agent, which evaluates and distributes the donations among the included projects based on impact, activity, and relevance.
💡 The idea behind Causes is simple yet compelling:
People are more willing to donate to a category or collection of projects rather than donating directly to individual projects. Causes provide a high-level overview of aligned initiatives, reduce donor decision fatigue, and encourage greater transparency and fairness in fund distribution.
