Find a project that you like
Have a good look at the projects already created, read the descriptions, and do your homework!
You can browse projects through different categories and sort them by GIVpower rank or other options.
Once you find a project you would like to donate to, hit the DONATE button.
Crypto Donations
Projects can receive contributions across multiple networks, supporting a variety of tokens:
- Ethereum (Mainnet & Classic)
- Gnosis Chain
- Arbitrum
- Base
- Polygon (PoS & zkEVM)
- Celo
- Optimism
- Solana
- Stellar
Choose the amount of cryptocurrency you would like to donate. Once you’ve entered the amount, you can click on DONATE, at which point your wallet will prompt you to validate the transaction. If you would like to use a different wallet than the one you used to sign into your account, click on change wallet in the drop down menu in the top right of the homepage.
Switching Networks
In order to switch networks, go to your profile name in the top right corner, click for the drop down menu, and select switch network.
Now you can select your preferred chain to make the donation.
Bear in mind some projects will only accepts donations on certain networks. You might get a warning if you are connected to a network that the project does not accept donations on.
When the transaction has been signed off and processed, you’re done! Nice work! You’ll be taken to the confirmation page, and you can track the transaction details by following the link on the page.

Making Donations on the Stellar Network
Find a project that you like
Have a good look at the projects already created, read the descriptions, and do your homework!
Once you find a project you would like to donate to, hit the DONATE button.
Donating with Stellar is fast, simple, and connecting a wallet or creating a Giveth profile is not required.
Step 1: After clicking DONATE , when viewing a project page, click the banner that says “Try donating with Stellar.”
Step 2: Enter the amount of XLM you want to donate.
Once you’ve entered the amount, you can click NEXT, and you will be redirected to the transaction page.
Step 4: Confirm your donation.
Scan the QR code with your Stellar wallet app (like Lobstr or Beans), or copy the address to send directly from a browser-based wallet like Freighter.
- If required, you’ll also see a Memo field shown - be sure to include it when sending!
- If no memo is needed (like in this case), it will be clearly stated.
⚠️ Important: You have 15 minutes to complete the transaction. If time runs out, simply restart the donation process to generate a new QR code.
Once you’ve sent your donation, you’re all set!
It may take up to 15 minutes for your donation to appear on the project page and be reflected in the round stats.
